Hydro Pump

A request for

Okay, okay. I know, I promise this earier in the week. But I have a really good excuse why I have been a little MIA.
So on Sunday, we got back from a trip to Indiana. No biggie right? Well, we own two Panda Bear hamsters, and when we got back, one of our hamsters, named Sergio had a rather large lump on his side that was green and gushing fluids. We were paniking and were calling vets trying to figure out what was going on. All day on Monday I drove around trying to find a vet for my poor hamster. We finally found one vet who worked with hamsters, and she told us little Sergio has CANCER. I've been with Sergio since he was about two weeks old. My boyfriend's hamster got pregnant, and I was allowed to keep two of them. The runt, Stumpy, and another hamster, Sergio. Well, my little sister is completely heartbroken, but gives him his medicine every twelve hours on the dot. She wakes up at 4 am just to give him his meds. She cries every night about him and she's losing hope. The doctors told us give him about a week, if the tumor doesn't get better, we'll have to put him down. He's the nicest hamster you'll ever meet. He never bites, and is so friendly. It just breaks my heart. The doctor said there's a chance it's just a really bad infection, but she thinks its cancer.

So now you know the story. And that's why I've been so behind on the requests. It's not that I've been ignoring you guys, it's just that we're having a bit of a crisis at home. I hope you guys understand. I was trying to make a quick journal entry about it, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it on the new format. If you guys know how, please leave a comment and teach me!! ^^'

But about the drawing, it's a Feraligatr, realistic requested by It was a lot of fun, I really came into it without a clue of how I was going to do it. I didn't want him in a standard pose, and I knew I wanted water in the picture. So I tried to make it like the water was coming around him, like the move hydro pump. I had to set the water's opacity down really far so the markings of the lines were visable. All in all, I think it came out pretty well. It was completely done on GIMP (because I lost the code for my corel application
